Hunter is one of the seven available jobs on Vulengate. It focuses around killing hostile and passive mobs.
It's one of the most consistent jobs available for passive income. Certain mob grinding set-ups can make it a viable long term job for the end game, though most of the optimal setups will require summoning vanilla Minecraft bosses and thus pre-planning is needed.
Players who reach level 200 in the Hunter job are given a commemorative [Hunter] Tag for the accomplishment.
All job information is shown at level 1. The increase of income is by 0.1% of its value every level until level 200.

The essentials for grinding hunter job will largely vary on what boss players choose to focus on grinding in the late game.
Players wanting to grind the job using Withers should invest in a Gladiator Sword and look into maxing the damage output through Custom Enchants, strength II and critical hit V being particularly helpful. A precursor to the Wither method of grinding is often gathering the skulls at wither skeleton farms, and for this players may want to invest in a Looting IV crate sword, or ideally a Sword of Peleus from the Ancient Greece Crate for maximum drops. A supply of soul sand will also need to be accounted for.
For players focusing on Ender Dragons, a Gladiator bow with Critical Shot V Custom Enchant applied and high Archery mcMMO level is ideal to ensure a quick-kill on the boss. A precursor to the Ender Dragon method of grinding is often gathering ghast tears at ghast farms, and for this players may want to invest in either a Sword of Peleus from the Ancient Greece Crate for maximum drops with Looting V, or ideally a Flare Gun from the Summit Crate to be able to snipe them from afar with Looting IV. A large supply of glass is also very important for crafting the crystals, so an Auto-Smelt shovel may also be a worthwhile investment. Finally players will need access to an efficient blaze farm and enderman farm to supply eyes of ender for the crystals.
Killing mass amounts of Withers is by far the most popular method for grinding Hunter job. This can be done in two ways: an automatic Wither builder set-up that requires advanced redstone knowledge to build, or by manually building rows of 30 withers with ⅔ heads applied. An automatic Wither builder setup will reacquire a second player to actively place soul sand throughout the duration of the hour boost, while the pre building method can be done independently, simply requiring mindfulness of the mob cap. With both these set-ups the Withers should be contained inside a claimed land with at least 4 solid blocks surrounding their trap area to ensure they do not fly out of the desired bounds. Slabs can also be effective to allow easy access to kill the withers while avoiding blast damage yourself. It's important to note Withers are unable to destroy blocks in claims.
As a pre-requisite to grinding Withers, players will often build or take advantage of public Wither Skeleton farms. These mobs are among the highest paying naturally spawning mobs, and while their skull drops are best used during income boost the skeletons themselves are a fantastic source of passive income between boosts. Depending on the speed and optimization of the Wither Skeleton farm in use it may even be more beneficial to grind at these farms for lower Hunter level players.
Though not as prominently used for grinding as they once were, Enderdragons are still the highest paying mob in the Hunter job. Their main downside is the reliance on a bow for combat with them, and the extremely long kill and spawning animations. There are dedicated end islands players are free to use to summon dragons during boost, at /rtp dragon1 and /rtp dragon2 respectively. The efficiency of this method depends entirely on the player's skill level to defeat the dragon quickly, this can be helped by dropping a well timed Critical Shot V arrow on the dragon at the exact frame its hitbox spawns on. Generally speaking with a high enough DPS bow it is never worth destroying the end crystals in dragon fights. If the dragon is healing too quickly from the crystals it's likely a sign your archery mcMMO and bow are not capable of speed grinding during boost.
Due to their infinitely spawning nature in Deep Dark biomes and high payout rates, battling Wardens can also be an effective method of making money in the Hunter Job. Players choosing to do this should invest in durable armor and a Gladiator sword as close to max damaging Custom Enchants as possible.
